Ok guys, this time we won´t do any php. This time it will all be about Flash and Actionscript 3.0. As I told you in some of the tutorials before I am working for a German ISP at the moment which is on it´s way to launch a new portal. This portal website will also hold some widgets that will provide the users with some basic functionality.
This tutorial will cover the alarm clock that comes with two layouts, analog and digital.
Lately I came across a nice article at “der fiese Admin” about the security leak at a German portal for kids, that made me wonder about the work attitude of some of my so called colleagues.
Security issues happen from time to time, nobody can possibly built a bullet proof website, someone will find a hole in your system from time to time, we all know that, but … guys honestly ?!
Lately I had to do some designs for a website, business cards and stationery for some lawyers I work for. Those I will show you as soon as they are final. Also I had to do a layout for a website of a photographer who is a friend of mine, this I will also share the moment it is final.
Then I have started on the solr extension project for TYPO3 I work on with Ingo Renner and dkd, where my current task is to set up a BE Module for the extension with extbase and fluid. A Good kick start for me at those topics and Typo3 4.3 .
Lately I came across this website with some really impressive designs for wash basins. The ones of you who know me know that I am really addicted to great design, either online and in real life. That´s why I´d like to share the link to that website with you.
Ok guys I think I have to say this,
I am honestly surprised by all the good feedback I got so far. I am just blogging for a week by now, because I wanted to give it a chance, see how it will go. It is fun to me. I really enjoy writing, and to share some knowledge I gained during the past 10 years in this business. I think I will be around for a while, and you all made it very easy for me with the feedback I got lately, to take some time for writing almost every day.

Today my new TOMTOM car kit arrived. I was quite impressed how fast TOMTOM delivered it (4 Days since I hit the order now button), after I read at the apple online-store that the delivery would take 4 to 6 weeks. So new toy for me,.. clearly, as the nerd I am, I tested it right away after I fetched it from the Ups warehouse. What can I say, good job TOMTOM, it made a huge difference in signal strength and the behavior of my Navigon GPS app.
